STC-26 Temporary Noise Barrier

Our STC-26 acoustical blankets are designed to easily attach to any existing construction fence and are designed with construction sound control in mind. The materials we use are high quality, durable, and fire resistant. Our noise barriers have been tested by an independent acoustical laboratory per ASTM E-90 and ASTM E-413 requirements. STC-26 blankets have a verified Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 26 and a verified Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.70

    Echo Noise Control STC-26 Acoustic Barrier Performance Modeling

    Six Foot ENC STC-26 Sound Wall Performance


    Using the environmental noise monitoring software Soundplan, we have modeled our STC-26 barrier in order to simulate the noise reduction effectiveness of our six foot sound wall on a construction site. The noise contour map shows the difference between the unmitigated east and mitigated west noise levels as they propagate across the affected area.

    Twelve Foot ENC STC-26 Sound Wall Performance


    Using the environmental noise monitoring software Soundplan, we have modeled our STC-26 barrier in order to simulate the noise reduction effectiveness of our twelve foot sound wall on a construction site. The twelve foot wall shows an increase in noise mitigation showing that an increase in wall height can be utilized to further reduce unwanted construction noise when necessary.
